Training Log for the Week of September 22nd 2025

My training log for the week of September 22nd, 2025 started with a Get Strong with Kelsey Heenan strength workout. At the end of the day, I did a 43:00 walk to loosen up from my weekend runs.

September 22nd, 2025

It’s easy to get caught up in summer weather and doing outdoor activities, but seasons change and I am back to my senses. I found a trainer that I like and realized that I didn’t finish a program when her new program came out. Get Strong Day 10 is done!

Tuesday September 23rd, 2025

Beautiful first full day of fall run in the foothills. I listened to a Pure Flix movie on YouTube while I was running. It’s like back in the radio days when people and families sat by their radios to listen to their favorite show. Today, I had my “radio” in my running vest pocket!

Wednesday September 24th, 2025

Downtown Albuquerque looks tiny in this picture, even though the total area of the city is 189 square miles.

This little side trail caught my eye and I couldn’t resist taking since it is quite colorful!

Balloons in the valley more than 1,300′ below are pretty hard to spot!

I don’t know when I developed an aversion to running on cloudy days or in the rain, but thankfully, I am not challenged too often. It started to sprinkle, and I knew that I was running toward the rain, but I didn’t waver and ran the route and distance that I had planned – even in the rain.
