My training log for the week of November 3rd, 2025 started out slow, literally. It was an uncharacteristically off week, and I ended up only doing four runs. With the mid-week hike with my daughter Grace, though, I did make it to 20 miles, but just barely.
Monday November 3rd, 2025
Years ago, I tried Tailwind and didn’t see the benefit. I recently got a 12-pack of single-serve packets, and now I like the product so much that I use it on every run. I gave the remaining packets to my daughter and got the 50-serving bag!

I ran about a mile east and up to the John Robert Dam and then took this picture before continuing on with my run heading east behind the dam.

I definitely only like the BODi cycling workouts with sound and the new series Chasing the West thankfully has it.

The Paseo del Bosque Trail is 16 miles of paved and dirt trail that doesn’t cross any roads and is marked every 1/4 mile. Considering that it is basically flat and at “sea level” (5,000′), I should go there more often to run!

Thankfully, I have company on my runs listening to YouVersion, YouTube, Audible, or Spotify. This morning I listened to more of “Born To Run 2” and heard some great recipes that are downloadable in a .pdf.
