My training log for the week of December 15th, 2025, shows that even at 10 days past my drug/supplement interaction, I am not 100%. I am slowly coming back but it was both a physical and psychological setback.

It actually seems that “there are more ways than one to skin a cat” probably refers to a “catfish”. That means that I can use it to describe my walk, then run as being more than one way to get back into running shape.
Tuesday December 16th, 2025
It is thirteen days since I experienced the antibiotic and supplement reaction that was so debilitating. My gut microbiome is back to 100% and now I am focusing on eating a more anti-inflammatory diet. For my workouts, I did Dig In Phase 2 Back 2 and then walked.
Wednesday December 17th, 2025
Another strength workout with Shaun T, doing most of Dig In Phase 2 Day 2 Arms & Legs 2, and then a run. After 14 days, today was the first day that the Spirit said to me, “You should run.” It was actually pretty good, but it will take a while to get back to where I was two weeks ago.
Thursday December 18th, 2025
Another Dig In workout and a short walk later. Shaun T has mellowed, and for the first time in 15+ years, I actually like him and his workouts. Plus, what he has done in terms of strength gains is very inspiring!
Friday December 19th, 2025
Many, many years ago, I ran with shorts, socks, and running shoes in warm weather. Shaun T can wear whatever he wants or doesn’t want to wear, and today it was shorts, socks, and workout shoes!
