Training Log for the Week of April 6th 2026

My training log for the week of April 6th, 2026, shows the benefits of the microdose fitness 10 Minute Muscle workouts. They are just right as strength training for me as a runner because I can choose any number of them as a warm-up for my run or as a complete workout.

30:00 of getting the sunroom ready for working out again out there and doing 10 Minute Muscle workouts

Tuesday April 7th, 2026

The 10 Minute Muscle leg and shoulder workouts didn’t impact my run. I was just slow today, even with Energize!

Wednesday April 8th, 2026

I did half of the loop around the Albuquerque Academy as part of my run this morning. The view is from the top of the loop in the southeast corner with the Three Sisters Volcanoes and Mt. Taylor to the west.

Thursday April 9th, 2026

Midday mostly hike up to over 6,300′ and then run back down. My legs were tired so I just went with the flow on the way east. They felt much better running mostly downhill as I headed west!

Walk with Maggie the dog for just over 30:00 in the evening.
Friday April 10th, 2026
The era of Maggie the dog has begun. My daughter works three nights a week at UNMH as a nurse’s assistant and now has a dog. Maggie comes over on Thursday evenings and stays until Sunday morning. We did three walks today, totaling about 5 miles.
Saturday April 11th, 2026
We did three walks today, totaling about 5 miles.
Sunday April 12th, 2026
We did one walk this morning that was 1.67 miles, and then I ran for 27:00 after she left.
