Training Log for the Week of May 4th 2026

My training log for the week of May 4th, 2026, shows some of the AI-generated workouts that I am now doing thanks to ChatGPT. I am now incorporating the four exercises that are non-negotiables, mornings and evenings, and trying to make time for the 15-minute runner reactivation routine that ChatGPT created. My summary for this week is 14 workouts with 3 runs, 2 hikes, and 9 walks with my daughter’s dog.  I topped 11 hours of workout time and had a total of 29 miles for the week.

Monday May 4th, 2026

I had to take a picture of what appears to be from The War of the Worlds but it is really just one of the Sandia Peak Tram towers on the ridge.

Tuesday May 5th, 2026

We had some very welcome rain in Albuquerque on and off today.

Wednesday May 6th, 2026

I would normally be listening to The Bible Recap on Audible on walks and runs, but this morning I was listening to the Cocodona 250 live stream instead, since it is once a year!

ThursdayMay 4th, 2026

Not far from here, I was in the arroyo because the grass was so wet from watering. I was “warned” twice by a Cooper’s Hawk that must have a nest close by. My run later was uneventful!

Three dog walks today with my daughter’s dog Maggie. We got in about 3 1/2 miles.

Saturday May 9th, 2026

Maggie and I hiked from the Albertson’s parking lot up to 6,363′ according to My Altitude app. Polar says much less, so I may need to do a reset. We did a walk in the evening with a nice view of the Albuquerque Volcanoes at sunset.

Sunday May 10th, 2026

Maggie and I ended our time together with an early walk, and then I did an out-and-back run from the house. That crow was very interested in watching some neighborhood chickens! I ended the week with a sunset walk.
