Training Log for the Week of July 13th 2026

My training log for the week of July 13th shows some signs that the 30 – 35 miles a week may be wearing me down and leaving me fatigued. I haven’t been taking any supplements, so I got the D3 and iron out and started taking them consistently. I also got some B12 from Sprouts and started taking it. Since I eat no meat, B12 is something that I have to take daily.

Another week of dog-sitting duty, Mondays are no-run days, and morning and evening walks with my daughter’s dog Maggie. We always do two-mile loops to use up some of her high energy and so that I can keep my average mileage at about 4 miles.

The fatigue is continuing, so I didn’t run today. Maggie and I did a walk this morning, and then I did another walk in the evening to get 4 miles for the day.

Back on track this morning with our usual Wednesday summer hike in the bosque. Since we’ve discovered the Corrales Bosque, we’ve gone down there for several weeks. This morning was a repeat of the run that I did on Saturday last week, but this time with my daughter and her dog Maggie. We always get in at least 4 miles of hiking, and this morning was no exception.
